Tulip - Time and attendance

Tulip is Bloomtech’s solution for detecting the personnel’s presence that manages all the issues of the data collection of the presence and the processing of the personnel’s monthly tags, giving an essential support to the personnel office in term of time saving and error elimination in the calculation phase. Tulip is also an essential tool for the analysis of the presence data, from which obtain information in form of summaries, useful to control the personnel’s costs and efficiency. It can also export monthly data in the formats expected by the most common salary calculation software. There are over 700 companies in every sector that already chose Tulip for time and attendance.

Tulip - Details

The stampings acquisition:

It occurs with the lecture from one or more terminals of time and attendance placed in the various access points. The terminals used by Tulip are equipped with an ethernet interface, to be directly connected to the web without the need of other devices. The terminal’s badge reader can be chosen between the one available: barcode, magnetic strip, radio-frequency transponder, biometric impression, instant photo from the camera, face recognition. it’s expected an import file process that allows the acquirement of stampings also from every other device.

Employees and timetables:

The registry of the employees is divided in categories, also multi-company. It’s expected also the extension with new fields fully customizable. The company structure can be defined at the desired detail level with the subdivision in firms and category of employees. At every employee are been associated one or more types of timetable, for every day of the week. The system recognizes automatically which timetable it has to consider, basing itself on the timetable associated with the employee and the effectuated stampings. In addiction to the registry data and the basic contractual, with Tulip you can extend the registry data of the employees customizing the fields in an immediate way, and visualize in an efficient way all the information thanks to the powerful functions of filter and grouping. The management of the various types of timetable expect the possibility to assign one or more profiles for every day of the week to every employee, in addiction to the tolerance rules and automatic rounding of the stampings and of the day’s totals. The types of timetable defines the way the employees work and are set basing in the contracts and on the company’s politics in being. With the rounding it’s possible to model with precision the company’s politics inherent the management of the extraordinary and the total amount of hours that the employee worked, the tolerance for being late stamping (distinct for every stamp) and the rounding for late arrivals or anticipated exit. It’s also possible to define stiffness constraints and automatic attribution of breaks.

The elaboration:

The monthly badge’s elaboration is the heart of the employees time and attendance system. The badge is elaborated from the acquired stampings, are associated the supporting for the hours the employee worked, extraordinary hours and absence hours, calculated the period totals, displayed the abnormalities, if any. In any case remains the possibility of manual modification of every single data elaborated (delete, modify of stampings, etc…). It’s expected the causal imputation in stamping phase, to automatize the management of missions and transfers. Using the massive justifications is done the automatic assignment of supporting common to all the employees or on long periods of time.

The provided data:

It’s always available, in real time, the presence situation of a department, with the visualization of the present employees, the absent ones and the one who went out. With the customizable totalizers it’s possible to define aggregated counters, in hour or days, that unify more supporting. They allow to calculate on periods (month, year, quarter, etc…) with the possibility to define the rules of the carry of the residue. Typical totalizers are the one for remaining holidays or flexibility balance. Are available summary views for a first analysis of direct costs of labor, printable or exportable in various formats, among which Excel or HTML. The printing of the presence sheets happens on a format authorized by INAIL as the law ¹³³⁄₂₀₀₈ about the unique book of work says. The data of the monthly presence are exportable in the most widespread formats from work advise studies, to send the data to your advisor via email

Tulip - Integrations

The commission’s management:

With the time detection module it’s possible to acquire through the stampings, or through manual registration, the time detection to assign to the various commissions defined in the registry. The detection acquiring systems can be lots (from files, directly from stampings, from the windows interface or touch screen, etc…).

With the times it’s possible to calculate costs and revenues and keep under control the commission’s marginality.

The collected data are modifiable and consultable through filters and groupings for commission, employee, period. The single detections such as the calculated time can be printed and exported in Excel for further elaborations.

Tulip Web:

With the Tulip Web module it’s possible to make the employee access to the functionalities of stampings insertion, supporting and detections on commission directly fro many web browser. All the data inserted by the employee are temporary and must be approved from a responsible or from the administrator in the monthly badge processing phase. Tulip Mobile:

The time and attendance in mobility and geolocation

Tulip mobile is the new application that allow your employees and advisors to stamp from any smartphone Android with integrated GPS, anywhere they are, and to relieve their exact geographic position at the stamping moment.

This allows to verify the effective presence in the workplace, a fundamental tools to control the personnel away, drivers, home service providers and yard workers.

It’s also possible to show a causal if a commission is taken.

The application is natively integrated in Tulip’s time and attendance system. The stampings are sent via SMS to a company modem or via web at TulipWeb’s server, to be later import automatically in Tulip.
